Galicia offers much more than beach holiday. The hinterland is also worth seing. Here you will find green landscapes and picturesque places. Galicia is situated on the Atlantic coast, in the Northwest of Spain. With its 29.500 square km it’s as big as Belgium and has 2,78 million inhabitants. Spain has its Celtic past, bagpipes music, unique nature and a long history.

The climate is temperate and that’s why this is the region where also Spanish people spend their holiday. Galicia offers beautiful nature and rich culture. The capital of the region Santiago de Compostela is the destination of the pilgrimage Camino de Santiago. The regional cuisine proposes outstanding fish dishes, traditional sweets and the Ribeiro wine.
